Adjustable Ridger

Machine with adjustable crankcase to earth up greenhouse or tunnel edges

Earthing-up means collecting soil from the tunnel and greenhouse lanes, and then placing on against the covering sheets edges to secure them on the ground. Cosmeco adjustable ridger is composed of a simple frame at the end of which is welded an adjustable crankcase for a milling rotor equipped with curved hoes. The rotary motion together with the bended shape of the hoes, simplifies and speeds up the collection of a sufficient quantity of soil, which through the adjustable crankcase, is directed towards the tunnel base to firmly secure the covering foil edges.

Model R.P.M. HP Km/h Kg Rotor
C1 540 25/40 2,0 - 4,0 100 Single milling rotor
C2 540 30/50 2,0 - 4,0 220 Two milling rotors

In the rear part of the frame there are three ploughs, placed there to move and aerate the soil between the rows and restore the original consistency it had before the passing of the ridger. We offer two different models: the single-rotor one, to earth up one side only (C1) and the two-rotor ridger, to earth up two sides at the same time (C2).
