The different models of Cosmeco vertical ditchers are, undoubtedly, some of the most interesting and less invasive solutions for water control and management, as well as drainage, irrigation or cracks in which pipes or cables are housed for any purpose.
The vertical rotor performs a cut in the ground with perfectly vertical walls, the curved picks facilitate the collection and ejection of the excavated material, the back foot controls the depth and completes the finish of the cut, compacting base and walls.
The result is almost perfect, the vertical walls remain defined and smooth, requiring few subsequent maintenance. Even when the channel appears closed at the surface, the bottom remains open, continuing to dispose of excess water that damages crops or prevents proper tillage.
Cosmeco vertical ditchers are good allies not only for drainage, but also for subirrigation, very effective system for the precise distribution of water under the ground, or at least for laying underground pipes, electrical cables and photovoltaic systems.

The COSMECO bilateral vertical ditchers are equipped with a movable frame, which can be moved from right to left, allowing the operator to excavate or maintain vertical cracks behind the tractor, approximately at the same point as both tyres, or in any intermediate position between them. The displacement is adjusted mechanically or by hydraulic cylinder, according to the user’s preference. The special mobility of the bilateral vertical ditchers visibly facilitates the operator in difficult situations requiring particular digging positions not achievable with the fixed frame of a normal vertical ditcher. For this reason they are used successfully both inside and outside the greenhouse, in orchards to make drainage channels as close as possible to the plants, or simply to mound over the nylon at the base of the tunnels.
The weight and small size of the smaller models allow to operate even in young plants of orchards and vineyards, without damaging the root systems and moving only the material strictly necessary.
